Vampire Knight (Japanese : Vanpaia Naito) is a Japanese Manga made by Hino Matsuri. It was first time published on LaLa Magazine on January 2005 and it's still ongoing (Now there are 14 series of them)
This manga tell us about Kurosu Yuuki, a 15 years old girl who had lost all her memories. Her earliest memory was when she's still 5 years old. At that time she was being attacked by a Level E or Ex - Human Vampire and saved by Kuran Kaname, a pureblood vampire. Then Kaname take her to the Kurosu Academy Principal and Yuuki was adopted by him. 4 years later, she met Kiryuu Zero, a son of the Kiryuu Household who was being killed by Hio Shizuka, a pureblood vampire.
Ten years later, Yuuki and Zero attend the Kurosu Academy and being the prefect on purpose to protect the Night Class true identity (Honestly, Night Class is the Class for vampires). Then, Yuuki finally found out that Zero is an Ex Human Vampire. Yuuki helps Zero to fight his transformation being a vampire and also to recover her memories.
When Kuran Rido, the uncle of Kuran Kaname, is come to Kurosu Academy to kill Yuuki, Kaname is forced to reveal Yuuki's secret by biting Yuuki and give her his blood in order to awaken Yuuki's true nature as a vampire. Then he explain to Yuuki that she's naturally Kuran Yuuki, his younger sister. Rido is killed by Zero and Yuuki when Kaname beat Rido's allies, the Vampire Council. After Zero know that Yuuki is a pureblood vampire, a kind of vampire that he hate, he makes Yuuki as his enemy. Yuuki leaves the Kurosu Academy with Kaname and return to the Kuran House. The story restart a year later when Yuuki come back to the Kurosu Academy and dealing with the new enemies.
